PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Future, current and former members of Rutgers wrestling will compete at the 2019 Marine Corps U.S. Open Championships from Thursday through Saturday in Las Vegas.
 
Current Scarlet Knights Nicolas Aguilar (57 kg) and Peter Lipari (65 kg), along with volunteer assistant coach Brian Murphy (74 kg) will wrestle in the Senior Men's Freestyle bracket, while Shane Metzler (57 kg), Malcolm Robinson (61 kg), Jake Benner (70 kg), Billy Janzer (86 kg), and Kyle Lightner (97 kg) will all go in the UWW Junior's Freestyle tournament.
 
2019 signee JoJo Aragona (65 kg) will also compete in the UWW Junior's Freestyle bracket. 2018 NCAA qualifier Eleazar DeLuca (72 kg) will wrestle in the Senior Men's Greco-Roman tournament after he placed at last year's U.S. Open.

12 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Senior Men's Greco-Roman Consolation Semifinals, 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th place matches
12 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Senior Men's Freestyle Preliminaries, Quarterfinals, Consolation Rds 1-3
6 p.m. –11:30 p.m.: UWW Junior's Freestyle Preliminaries & Consolation
6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Senior Men's Freestyle Consolation Rds 4-5
8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Senior Men's Freestyle Semifinals
10 p.m. – 12 a.m.: Senior Men's Greco-Roman Finals
 
Saturday, April 27
12 p.m. – 4 p.m.: UWW Junior's Freestyle Quarterfinals & Consolation
12 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Senior Men's Freestyle Consolation Rd 6, Consolation Semifinals, 3rd, 5th 7th place matches
5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Senior Men's Freestyle Finals
8 p.m. – 11 p.m.: UWW Junior Freestyle Consolation Semifinals, Semifinals, 3rd 5th 7th place and Finals matches
