Wrestling Releases Full 2025-26 Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers wrestling finalized its 2025-26 schedule. The Scarlet Knights compete eight times at Jersey Mike's Arena this season, including four Big Ten Conference matches and four additional non-conference dates.
 
Season tickets are now available. Fans are also encouraged to secure their tickets for the 2025 NWCA All-Star Classic, presented by Nike Wrestling, on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Jersey Mike's Arena. Tickets for the NWCA All-Star Classic are not included in this year's season ticket package. Single-match tickets will go on sale on Monday, Oct. 6.
 
All times for home and away matches will be finalized later on.

November
Rutgers hosts the NWCA All-Star Classic on Saturday, Nov. 1 before it begins its regular season on Sunday, Nov. 2 with a home quad against Bloomsburg, Centenary and Gardner-Webb.
 
The Scarlet Knights then face Navy on Sat., Nov. 8 in a neutral-site matchup at the Journeymen WrangleMania, hosted in Bethlehem, Pa. RU closes out the month sending its full squad to the Keystone Classic on Sunday, Nov. 23 in Philadelphia.
 
December
Rutgers competes in four duals before the new year, beginning with Davidson and NC State on Sunday, Dec. 7 in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. The Scarlet Knights then return home for back-to-back out-of-conference matches with Oklahoma (Dec. 13) and Drexel (Dec. 14).
 
Though not an official date on the calendar, RU will send several student-athletes to the 2025 Ken Kraft Midlands Championships from Dec. 29-30 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
 
January
Six of Rutgers' eight Big Ten matches occur in January, as the Scarlet Knights open conference action on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Penn State. RU then hosts Michigan (Jan. 16) and Purdue (Jan. 18) before a two-match road swing at Northwestern (Jan. 23) and Illinois (Jan. 25). The month closes with a home dual against Maryland on Friday, Jan. 30, followed by a non-conference matchup with Rider on Saturday, Jan. 31.
 
February
RU hosts Minnesota for its final home Big Ten dual on Friday, Feb. 6, then closes its conference schedule at Michigan State on Friday, Feb. 13 in East Lansing. The regular season concludes with Princeton on Monday, Feb. 16 at Jersey Mike's Arena and Hofstra on Wed., Feb. 18 in Hempstead, New York.
 
March
The 2026 Big Ten Championships will be held March 7-8 at Penn State. The 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships take place March 19-21 in Cleveland.

Rankings are Intermat Preseason Dual Rankings
 
Rutgers produced seven national qualifiers and three Blood Round participants at this year's NCAA Championships in Philadelphia. The Scarlet Knights wrapped up the regular season No. 11 in the final NWCA Coaches Poll, marking the program's highest finish in the rankings since they closed the 2015-16 campaign No. 10. It also signified RU's 13th top 25 final team ranking under head coach Scott Goodale.
 
Rutgers also welcomes several impact transfers to next year's squad, including heavyweight Hunter Catka (Virginia Tech), 197-pounder Remy Cotton (Michigan State) and 174-pounder Lenny Pinto (Nebraska). The trio has combined for seven NCAA Championships appearances during their collegiate careers.
