
Volleyball Falls to New Mexico & Northern Colorado

GREELEY, Colo. (Aug. 30, 2019) – Rutgers volleyball fell in straight sets to New Mexico in the first match of the Northern Colorado Classic at the Bank of Colorado Arena, before a four-set setback to the host Bears in the nightcap on Friday evening.
The Scarlet Knights conclude the Northern Colorado Classic against Grand Canyon on Saturday at noon ET (10 a.m. MT).

| STANDOUT STATS |
- Sophomore outside hitter Anastasiya Kudryashova paced the Scarlet Knights on the attack in each contest, recording a career-high 16 kills against the Bears, which followed her seven-kill performance in the New Mexico match.
- Sophomore outside hitter Tali Marmen bounced 13 kills in the four-setter against UNC, while adding an assist, an ace, three digs and two blocks.
- Sophomore setter Inna Balyko totaled 64 assists on Friday (9.43 per set), and shined during the second set victory over UNC as Rutgers hit .458 in the period.
- Rutgers put up 15.5 team blocks against the Bears, led by six apiece from senior middle Jasmine Stackhouse and junior opposite hitter Beka Kojadinovic.

- Swackenberg reached double-digits in digs in each contest, marking the 45th and 46th occasions of that feat in her career.
- Swackenberg moved into a tie with Ronnie Komisarek (2012-15) for eighth place all-time at Rutgers with 986 career digs.
- Kudryashova's 16 kills against UNC are a career high, surpassing the previous mark of 10 set as a freshman against Michigan State.
- Stackhouse moves into ninth place all-time with 300 total blocks, surpassing Addie Thiry (2001-04).
- As just a sophomore, Balyko vaults into 10th place all-time at Rutgers with 1,127 career assists.
