PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers Athletics has announced ticket prices and purchasing information for the Big Ten Conference's annual Super Saturday event, which features the Scarlet Knights' men's basketball and wrestling teams against Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Madison Square Garden.
The Super Saturday showcase at the World's Most Famous Arena is a single-ticketed event, with one ticket granting access to the same seat for both wrestling and men's basketball. Wrestling against the Wolverines begins at 1 p.m., followed by men's basketball at 4:30 p.m. Super Saturday is a designated home date for Michigan in both sports.
From Sept. 17 through Oct. 10, season ticket holders may request up to eight tickets from the below price levels. On Oct. 11, seats for the event will be allocated in priority point order. To request tickets, season ticket holders must
login here and select "Super Saturday". Season ticket holders with any additional questions can call the Rutgers Ticket office at 732-445-GORU.
Rutgers Athletics will also provide 100 undergraduate students a complimentary ticket and bus transportation to and from Madison Square Garden. Students with the highest scan rates from the first 10 men's basketball and two wrestling home events will be able to access the free Super Saturday ticket. For $15 per ticket, season ticket holders may also donate tickets for students to attend Super Saturday free of charge beyond the allocated 100 by logging into their account.
Tickets will be made available to the general public beginning on Oct. 17.

Rutgers men's basketball was named the Most Improved Team of the 2018-19 season by Sports Illustrated in its year-end wards. The Scarlet Knights improved 70 positions in the KenPom.com rankings since the season's initial rating, best among all power conference programs.
Stemming from the progress, Rutgers experienced five sell-outs at the RAC, its most since 2004-05 (7). Average attendance improved 31.1% from 2017-18. RU ranked 65th nationally in percent of capacity (78%) out of 353 D-I programs after placing 232nd in 2017-18 (59.49%).
Under the guidance of reigning Dan Gable and NCAA Tournament Coach of the Year
Scott Goodale, Rutgers wrestling is coming off an historic 2018-19 campaign which was capped by the program's first individual NCAA titles from
Anthony Ashnault and
Nick Suriano, as well as its first Top 10 finish at the national tournament.
RU returns four national qualifiers this season, including
Matthew Correnti,
Joseph Grello,
Peter Lipari,
Jordan Pagano. The Scarlet Knights also feature an incoming 2019 freshman class ranked No. 4 in the country by FloWrestling. The group includes three 2019 NJSIAA state champions –
Sammy Alvarez,
JoJo Aragona, and
Robert Kanniard – as well as highly-regarded prospects
Gerard Angelo,
Devon Britton,
Jackson Turley and
Ryan Vulakh.
