Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2019 Fall Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse released its 2019 fall schedule on Monday. The Scarlet Knights will host their annual Play Day on Sunday, Sept. 29 on the F3 Practice Fields at the Marco Battaglia Practice Complex, followed by three away events in October.
RU will play Lehigh (9:30 a.m.), Quinnipiac (11:50 a.m.) and the New York Athletic Club (1:50 p.m.) next Sunday during its home tournament. Per university parking guidelines, guest event parking will require a one-time, online registration good for the entire day. Fans attending Rutgers' Play Day must register their vehicle, free of charge, here.
The Scarlet Knights will play at Army in West Point, New York on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. RU closes out the fall with two road tournaments, beginning with the Princeton Fall Play Day against the host Tigers, USC and Albany on Sunday, Oct. 13 in Princeton, New Jersey, followed by Drexel's tournament against the host Dragons, Monmouth and Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, Oct. 26 in Philadelphia.
Rutgers women's lacrosse is led by first-year head coach Melissa Lehman, who was hired on June 17, 2019 after a successful tenure as the Associate Head Coach at Penn. The Scarlet Knights return their four top scorers from a season ago, including junior Taralyn Naslonski (39 g, 21 a), senior Samantha Budd (36 g, 13 a), sophomore Marin Hartshorn (23 g, 10 a) and redshirt senior Dakota Pastore (18 g, 8 a).
