Men’s XC Readies for the Ohio State Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's cross country readies for the Ohio State Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28. The start time for the 8K race is 9 a.m. ET at the Ohio State University Golf Course, which will be the site of this year's Big Ten Cross Country Championships in November.
Rutgers claimed the team title at the Fordham Fiasco on Saturday, Sept. 7 in the Bronx. Senior Cole Pschunder led the Scarlet Knights for the second consecutive race, finishing second to help guide RU to victory at Van Cortlandt Park.
Three Scarlet Knights finished in the top 10 of the event. Pschunder crossed the line second with a time of 26:27.23 on the 8K course.
Junior Billy Hill followed with a time of 27:00.16, finishing eighth in the field of 110. Classmate Patrick Walsh was close after with a time of 27:00.81 to cross the line ninth.
Rutgers has finished in the Top 3 in both its races to start the 2019 season.
Rutgers returns to the Bronx for the Metropolitan Championships on Friday, Oct. 11.
