Meet 5: Gymnastics Travels to Penn State

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics travels to Penn State on Friday, Jan. 31 for its third straight meet on the road. The meet is set for a 7 p.m. ET start at Rec Hall.

Rutgers is back at the RAC for a dual meet with Michigan State on Saturday, Feb. 8. Start time is set for 1:30 p.m. ET live on Big Ten Network.

| KNIGHT NOTES |
- Rutgers competed in two road meets over the weekend with stops at then-No. 9 Michigan on Friday and Penn on Sunday.
- At Michigan, Rutgers produced season-highs on vault and beam with marks of 48.775 in each. The Scarlet Knights also posted numerous career- and season-highs.
- Senior Kaitlyn Hall recorded a career-high of 9.800 on vault to tie for third in the competition with the Wolverines. Sophomore Abigail Karolewski registered a career-high of 9.825 on bars, while senior Shannon Farrell added a 9.825 as well.
- At Penn on Sunday, senior Erin McLachlan broke the school record on beam with a 9.950. Freshman Hannah Joyner followed with a 9.900, reaching that mark or higher for the third time this season.
- Sunday's beam score of 49.125 marked the program's second highest event total ever in the event. The total bested marks of 49.100 achieved twice in March of 2014.
