Statement from Rutgers Athletics
Rutgers University Department of Athletics, in alignment with COVID-19 testing and protocols for non-conference opponents, has postponed the women's basketball game against Monmouth University scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at the RAC. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution and with the welfare of the student-athletes, coaches and event staff in mind after the opponent's most recent testing results.
The decision does not affect the Rutgers men's game at 7 p.m. Wednesday night against Sacred Heart.
