Rutgers softball will play the Purple-Gold Invitational hosted by ECU. The Scarlet Knights will meet up with the host Pirates, along with Sacred Heart and La Salle.

| ABOUT THE SCARLET KNIGHTS |
- Graduate student first baseman Gabrielle Callaway tops the stat sheet offensively for the Scarlet Knights hitting .344 with a team-second best 21 hits and having reached base safely in the last 19-consecutive contests. On the year, she has hit four doubles and two home runs for seven RBI. In the two games each with Bucknell and Marshall, Callaway picked up two RBI and two runs scored.
- Freshman third baseman Payton Lincavage is hitting .305 and leads RU with six doubles and a team-second best 10 RBI. The rookie hit .455 over the weekend (5-for-11) totaling six of her 10 total RBI in the four-game tournament.
- Ashley Hitchcock leads the pitching corps with a 3.16 ERA and 5-3 record. She has pitched a team-leading 48.2 innings in 18 appearances and struck out 59 opponents. At the plate, she is .275 with 11 hits and three runs scored. Over the weekend, she went 1-0 picking up the victory in RU's 10-5 win over Bucknell. Over the course of her three appearances, the freshman right hander tossed 13 strikeouts over 8.2 innings. Additionally, she led the Scarlet Knight bats hitting .600 (3-for-5).

- The Pirates are 10-13 on the season and went 4-1 at the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational last weekend with wins over Chattanooga, Army, Penn State and Florida A&M.
- At the plate, Seton Hall is led by freshman outfielder Abby Wingo, who is hitting .370 with a team-leading 27 hits to go along with 10 RBI and 10 runs. Junior infielder Baylee Allender, meanwhile, is batting .356 with a team-leading 20 runs batted in, eight home runs and 22 runs scored.
- Freshman pitcher Shelby Smith leads the pitching staff with a 3.86 ERA in 10 appearances with 16.1 innings inside the circle. Sophomore Kelsey Gumm, meanwhile, is 4-3 on the season having tossed 49.2 innings with a 4.93 ERA and senior Reganne Camp leads the staff with 39 strikeouts with a 4.50 ERA.
