Not only does his play do the talking on the court, but off of it, Baker is a tremendous ambassador of the Block R. Since the global pandemic ended last season prematurely, he has taken the time to make a genuine impact in the community.

He started stepback challenge, connecting virtually with fans who attempted to replicated his signature shot. He also addressed racial issues head on as a vocal voice for positive change. He will be a member of the Big Ten's Anti-Hate and Anti-Racism Coalition.  He continues to be a shining star for the program and an inspiration for future generations of Rutgers fans.

Geo Baker dunks on Indiana's Joey Brunk
I loved it. He said his legs felt good. A couple days off, coach David VanDyke has been driving him hard. He has that. We're excited about his growth. He didn't have that as a freshman. He's just getting better and better in a lot of areas. I think all of these guys have gotten better and better. Excited to go to the rim on a little bit of a mission. It's a good thing. Timely, too.
