
Tennis Releases 2022 Spring Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis has announced its schedule for the 2022 spring season. The lineup includes 9 Big Ten contests and 14 non conference matchups, 12 at home and 11 away.
The Scarlet Knights kick off the season with two home matches, first facing Army (Jan. 22) and then NJIT (Jan. 28). They hit the road to face UPenn the following day on January 29 to close out the first month of spring play.
In February, they return home for two home games against Drexel (Feb. 4) and St. John's (Feb. 6). Back to back away games follow with UMass on February 12 and UConn the next day (Feb. 13). Rutgers closes out February back at home to face Delaware (Feb. 18) and Yale (Feb. 19).
Continuing the home contests in March, the Scarlet Knights face Long Island University and Seton Hall in back to back matches on March 4. They follow with the start of their Big Ten slate in a string of away matches that include Wisconsin (March 15), Maryland (March 19), Northwestern (March 26), Illinois (March 27), and Minnesota (April 1).
Rutgers will then face four conference opponents at home including Nebraska (April 9), Iowa (April 10), Purdue (April 15) and Indiana (April 17). Followed by Penn State on April 22 and Ohio State on April 24 to finish regular season matches.
The Big Ten Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27 to Sunday, May 1. It will be hosted by the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
