Tennis Returns Home for Matches with Penn State and Ohio State

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis returns home for two Big Ten matches this weekend. The Scarlet Knights first host Penn State on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 12:30 p.m. before matching up with Ohio State on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 12 p.m. A live stream accompanied with live results will be available for each match.
All events at Rutgers Athletics venues for the 2020-21 competition year will operate in accordance with current statewide restrictions on indoor and outdoor public gatherings. Access to events will be limited to athletes, coaches, trainers and other necessary game day personnel. As a result, tennis matches will not be open to the public this season.
In its last outing, senior Maya Jacobs led the team with a victory at the No. 1 singles spot against Michigan State. Freshmen Chloe Brown, Daira Cardenas and Alisa Prinyarux.all made their Big Ten dual match debuts over the weekend as well.
Up next, Rutgers will welcome Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 27 to cap a three-match homestand.
