Tennis Falls to No. 8 Ohio State

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Rutgers tennis fell to No. 8 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. The Buckeyes claimed the doubles point for an early 1-0 advantage moving into singles play. RU would battle through singles, however, OSU claimed the six points to remain undefeated in Big Ten play this season.
All three freshmen entered the lineups again for the Scarlet Knights. Freshman Chloe Brown appeared in singles for her fourth straight match, while classmate Daira Cardenas made her second dual singles appearance. Alisa Prinyarux competed in doubles for in her fourth straight dual match.
Up next, Rutgers remains home for its third consecutive match, welcoming Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 27 for a 2 p.m. match at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.
