Women’s Golf Opens Spring at Texas State Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's golf begins its 2021 spring season on Monday and Tuesday at the Texas State Invitational in Kyle, Texas. The three-round, 54-hole tournament will be played on the Plum Creek Golf Course, a par 72, 6,249-yard venue.

Rutgers carded a 937 (314-309-314) to place 10th at least year's Texas State Invitational, as recent graduate Carrie-Ann Lee shot a 229 (79-74-76) to tie for 18th in the 78-player field. Current Scarlet Knight Maeve Rossi joined Lee among the top 50, placing tied for 48th with a 237 (76-80-81). Current student-athletes Leigha Devine, Anna-Maria Diederichs and Eun Won Park also competed at the invitational.
