Mar 10 | Men's Lacrosse
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The back half of the Rutgers men's lacrosse schedule has been revealed, with five new opponents unveiled. The Scarlet Knights will play five more Big Ten Conference games, reversing the home and away designations to play each league foe a second time.
Rutgers will finish with three home games and two away games. The Scarlet Knights also had their television designations finalized, with four games live on television on national television.
Rutgers has opened the year with a 3-0 mark, and have two more contests remaining on the initially revealed slate. RU will play road games coming up at No. 3 Maryland (Saturday at 3 p.m. on BTN) and Johns Hopkins (Saturday, March 20).
The back half of the schedule begins with another contest against the Terps, which will be the second meeting in three weeks. That game is on Sunday, March 28, and will air on ESPNU at noon. Rutgers remains home for its second straight week to host No. 15 Ohio State, who the Scarlet Knights defeated by a 22-12 score early in the season. That game will be televised by Big Ten Network at 5 p.m.
Rutgers then goes on the road to play at No. 12 Penn State. The rematch against the Nittany Lions, who RU defeated 11-9 in the season opener, will be on Saturday, April 10.
The team then returns to SHI Stadium for its home finale against Johns Hopkins. That Senior Day matchup is on Saturday, April 17. The regular season then concludes in Ann Arbor against Michigan. The second meeting with the Wolverines, who RU defeated 22-12 last weekend, will be televised on ESPNU at noon on Sunday April 25.
