PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 21 women's soccer welcomes two Big Ten opponents to Yurcak Field this week, starting with a match against Iowa on Thursday, March 18 at 1 p.m. The Scarlet Knights then host the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday, March 21 at 12 p.m.

- Rutgers (4-1-1, 4-1-1 Big Ten) played Maryland to 0-0, double overtime draw this past Saturday on the road.
- Junior goalkeeper Meagan McClelland and the defense picked up the second shutout of the year for RU. The Scarlet Knights held the Terrapins to just two shots on goal, the least of any RU opponent this season.
- McClelland  picked up the 22nd clean sheet of her career, moving into a tie for fifth all-time on the Rutgers career charts.Â
- Overall, the Scarlet Knights have held their opponents to single shots in five of six games this year. With all six opponents limited to single-digit shots on goal by the RU backline.
- On the offensive side, seven different Scarlet Knights have contributed to scoring this season. Senior forward Amirah Ali leads the team with three goals, while freshman Sam Kroeger has recorded a team-high three assists and a goal.
- Rutgers ranks in the top 25 nationally for the third straight week, entering the polls with the United Soccer Coaches first rankings of the spring on March 2.

All events at Rutgers Athletics venues for the 2020-21 competition year will operate in accordance with current statewide restrictions on indoor and outdoor public gatherings. Access to events will be limited to athletes, coaches, trainers and other necessary game day personnel.
