No. 10 Ohio State Tops Tennis

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Rutgers tennis was topped by No. 10 Ohio State on the road Sunday afternoon. The Scarlet Knights pushed to three sets in two singles matches, but the Buckeyes were able to collect six singles wins to go with their team doubles point.
At the No. 2 singles position, junior Tess Fisher battled back from a 6-4 loss in the first to take the second set by a strong 6-1 margin. However, she would fall in the final by a tight score of 1-0 (10-6).
Redshirt senior Jaci Cochrane opened her No. 5 spot match with a 6-4 win before falling 6-3 in the next. Her opponent took the deciding set by a slim 1-0 (10-8) margin.
Next up, Rutgers travels to Indiana on March 27 and Purdue on Mar 28.
