Future Scarlet Knights Lift the East to Victory at HS Soccer All-American Game

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Five Scarlet Knights shined at the 2020 High School All-America Game played on Saturday, May 29 in St. Louis, Missouri. Kylie Daigle, Gia Girman, Cammie Kennett, Emily Mason and Riley Tiernan guided the East to a 4-1 victory over the West.
Tiernan was named the East MVP, recording a game-high two goals. Daigle recorded a goal and two assists, while Girman added a goal to round out the East scoring. Mason was a force on defense as the Rutgers signees all had a hand in the win. All four were named the Best XI by Top Drawer Soccer.
The five are part of a 2021-22 incoming class that ranks No. 7 nationally. The full class includes Kassidy Banks, Kylie Diagle, Gia Girman, Cammie Kennett, Emily Mason, Courtney Ruedt, and Riley Tiernan.
The new Scarlet Knights will join a group of returners that includes a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, two All-Americans, four-All-Region honorees, and eight All-Big Ten selections.
