
Women's Soccer Draws Maryland in Season Finale

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Rutgers women's soccer ended the 2025 season with a 0-0 draw at Maryland on Sunday afternoon at Ludwig Field.
The Scarlet Knights (4-7-5, 2-7-2) outshot the Terrapins (6-11-1, 2-8-1) by a margin of 19-7, including 6-2 in shots on goal, but were unable to find a breakthrough.
Playing without Lindsey Hailey (yellow card accumulation), RU shifted Morgan Hippeli to center back and the defense held firm, posting the sixth shutout of the season.
The Scarlet Knights allowed just two shots on goal – one in each half – and GK Olivia Bodmer stopped both. With her two-save shutout, Bodmer increased her career totals to 210 saves and 21 shutouts. Her 210 saves are ninth all-time, while her 21 shutouts are seventh all-time in the program record books.
