For the first scrimmage and the first performance of the season, we played really well and everyone's mentality was great. Everyone wanted to win, everyone wanted to work hard. It was really hot out, but we all knew we had to give in our shift and get the ball in the net and I think we did that really well.

Allowing no goals is part of our culture, you know that's one of the things we say in the huddle before every single game. No service, no shots, no goals. That's built into our culture. Scoring wise, we went out and we went after them. We're really starting to gel as a team and grow. It's a really good start.
