#9 Women's Soccer Hosts Princeton, Travels to #24 Georgetown

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 9/10 Rutgers women's soccer splits its matches home and away this week, starting with a home game against in-state opponent Princeton on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. RU will then travel to former BIG EAST foe No. 24 Georgetown on Sunday, Sept. 12 for a 1 p.m. contest.

"Our mentality is to give up no goals and on the other side get as many goals as we can. We've been doing really well with that. We always look at it as the next game is our most important so we're really focused on playing Princeton on Thursday. We're just going to keep up our defense and offense and focus on that in these next few practices, which are going to be really important going into Princeton. We just take it one game at a time and I'm excited to continue getting good results," said sophomore Becci Fluchel.

"Our attack is really good and we're progressing. I know we want more even more goals. The next few trainings will be most important for the game's this weekend. Focusing our concentration in finishing and being precise in everything we do is the most important thing for us to be successful," said sophomore Sam Kroeger.
