PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers wrestling unveiled its full 2022-23 competition schedule. The slate includes five home duals, two in-state road matchups against rivals Princeton and Rider, and nine duals against programs who finished last season ranked in the final NWCA Coaches Poll.
Season tickets for the 2022-23 campaign are now on sale and can be purchased
here. Times for this year's home matches and television designations for the entire schedule will be released at a later date. Dates and times are subject to change. Themes surrounding all five home dates will also be announced in the coming weeks.
November
The Scarlet Knights open their dual season with a return to College Ave. Gym to face Clarion on Friday, Nov. 11. Head coach
Scott Goodale will look to secure his 200th career dual victory as head coach, with the match the first for the program at its old home since a matchup with Princeton on Feb. 14, 2015.
Due to capacity restrictions compared to our total number of wrestling season ticket holders, the match against Clarion at College Ave. Gym is not included in this year's season ticket package. Current season ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to request this match be added to their season ticket plan. Requests will be fulfilled in priority point order. The Athletics Ticket Office will send out further instructions in the coming weeks.
RU then heads to Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania the following day to face No. 12 Arizona State and Sacred Heart on Saturday, Nov 12. The Scarlet Knights close out the month with a trip to California to face Stanford (Nov. 19) and compete in the CSU Bakersfield Open (Nov. 20).
