PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 1, 2022) – A school-record 208 Rutgers student-athletes were recognized by the Big Ten as Spring 2022 Academic All-Conference on Wednesday to elevate the Scarlet Knights' 2021-22 total to a record-setting 419 honorees, after 57 and 154 were selected in the winter and fall, respectively.

Among the spring honorees are ten four-time selections, 49 three-time honorees and 56 repeat selections.
 
Ryan Gallagher, Jaryd Jean-Felix and Michael Sanguinetti from men's lacrosse all received their fourth honor. Patrick Walsh (men's cross country/track and field), Taralyn Naslonski (women's lacrosse), Sophia Catuogno, Stephanie Welsh and Tessa Catuogno of rowing were all recognized for their fourth time, while Olympia Martin and Kiera Nealon of women's cross country and track and field also received the award for the fourth time.

Naslonski, rowing's Margaret Kane, Grace Lewis, and Emily Mahaffy, and Gabrielle Callaway from softball all earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in 2021-22.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students-athletes must have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
