No. 18 Wrestling Wraps Up Non-Conference Slate at Bloomsburg, Rider

PISCATWAY, N.J. – No. 18 Rutgers wrestling (6-1) finishes its non-conference dual schedule with weekend matches at Bloomsburg (Friday) and Rider (Sunday.) Friday night's dual with the Huskies is set for a 7 p.m. start, while the matchup with the Broncs will begin at 2 p.m. in Lawrenceville.

- Six placed at the 2022 Midlands Championships from Dec. 29-30 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois during RU's last time out, which included a third-place finish from Sammy Alvarez (141). Dean Peterson (125) and Brian Soldano (184) added fourth-place results at the two-day tournament.
- Rutgers' last dual came on Dec. 11, a 17-16 victory at Princeton inside Jadwin Gymnasium. Down seven after six bouts, the Scarlet Knights delivered wins in three of their final four matchups to push the dual to criteria, as RU held a 47-43 advantage in total match points.

- Head coach Scott Goodale picked up his 200th career win as a head coach when RU defeated Clarion in its season opener. The program's all-time wins leader, Goodale owns 205 victories during his 16-year tenure "On the Banks."
