
Three Scarlet Knights Reach 1-Meter Final At NCAA Zones

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Three Scarlet Knight divers made their way to the finals on 1-meter on the second day of the NCAA Zone A Championships hosted by West Virginia at the Aquatics Center at Mylan Park.
Savana Trueb led the corps with a sixth-place finish. The senior Scarlet Knight totaled 552.65 only 0.85 shy of reaching the top five and qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Trueb landed in fifth place at the conclusion of prelims with a score of 277.35.
Giulia Vittorioso made her second final of zones and took ninth on 1-meter with a finals score of 543.05. The sophomore was in a tie for eighth at the conclusion of prelim diving with a score of 267.30.
Holly Prasanto also reached finals for a second-straight day. She came in 13th overall totaling 526.95 after finishing 11th in prelims with a 263.20.
Also competing on 1-meter Tuesday was graduate student Jenna Douglass. Douglass made her fourth NCAA Zones appearance on 1-meter and finished 27th overall with a score of 239.70.
NCAA Zone A Diving Championships conclude on Wednesday with Pransanto, Trueb and Vittorioso on platform. Competition begins at 11 a.m.
