Senior Day/Thank You Fans: Nov. 25 vs. Maryland

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football's seven-game 2023 home slate closes out with Senior Day/Thank You Fans on Nov. 25 versus Maryland at SHI Stadium. The game is presented by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.

The home finale gives fans one final chance to celebrate graduating seniors, with members of each senior's hometown invited to support. More details to come this fall. A pregame ceremony will be held in recognition.

The prior six themes were previously revealed for 2023. The Back to the Birthplace Game (Sunday, Sept. 3), Blackout (Sept. 9), Scarlet Out/R Community Day (Sept. 16), $1 Slice Day (Sept. 30), Homecoming & Family Weekend (Oct. 14) and Military Appreciation Day (Nov. 4) all contain initiatives to enhance fan experience at SHI Stadium.

Giveaways for Senior Day/Thank You Fans include posters, "Beat Maryland" buttons, "I Chopped 2023" buttons, shakers, a free car wash courtesy of Team Car Wash and a free lottery ticket for fans 18 years and older courtesy of Jackpocket. There will also be door prizes, televisions, t-shirts and gift cards given out throughout the game inside the stadium.

The Rutgers Boardwalk opens four hours prior to kickoff and is the place to stop by for top food trucks in New Jersey, free rides, games, interactive experiences, prizes and live entertainment. Get to The Rutgers Boardwalk early for the pregame parade and pep rally with the Marching Scarlet Knights, Spirit Team, Sir Henry, the Scarlet Knight horse "Excalibur" with the Knight and the football team arrival. The Scarlet Walk takes place approximately 2.5 hours prior to game time.

The next wave of Scarlet Knights are invited to come experience football game day early. All prospective incoming freshmen will be contacted to take advantage of "Student for a Day."

Student season ticket holders will be served free food pregame inside the stadium.

Fresh off a national performance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City at this point, the 300-member Marching Scarlet Knights will honor the graduating class with a "Senior Choice Show" at halftime. Cheer and dance will also honor its seniors at the game.

With unbeatable sightlines and premium offerings for members, the Provident Bank Stadium Club offers Rutgers fans a comfortable, memorable and unmatched gameday experience. It is the perfect place for Rutgers alumni, fans and partners alike to have fun with family and friends.

Fans can also book full-service tailgates across the street from SHI Stadium in Tailgate City at Athlete's Glen in advance.

Season tickets are on sale for the home slate this fall, which features four games at SHI Stadium in September.
