PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Jimmy Catanzarite was named the Director of Operations for Rutgers field hockey, the team announced.

"We are thrilled to have Jimmy join our program full time," head coach Meredith Civico said. "As a person and a Rutgers graduate, he embodies everything Rutgers Field Hockey is about. Selfless, hardworking, honest and genuine, we are are so happy he is part of R family."

Catanzarite originally joined the Rutgers Athletic Department in July of 2021 as an Olympic Sports Coordinator. He previously worked with both field hockey and softball and shifts his responsibilities to solely work with the field hockey program. He also previously served the department as the head student manager for the baseball team and an intern with Rutgers' facilities and operations.

A Rutgers graduate in 2019, the native of Livingston, N.J., will work closely with the RU coaching staff to assist in all areas of team operations.
