
Lowrey’s Hat Trick Launches Women’s Soccer Over FDU

The senior secures the program’s first hat trick since 2019 as the Scarlet Knights top FDU, 7-0
SCORING SUMMARY
- Gia Vicari opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute, netting her first as a Scarlet Knight after leading Georgetown in goals over the past three seasons. Riley Tiernan assisted the tally with a through ball, which Vicari tucked into the side netting for the 1-0 lead.
- Lowrey's first goal came just two minutes later after some quick passing by Vicari and Allie Post in the box led to Lowrey's shot past the keeper and the 2-0 advantage.
- Tiernan joined the party in the 9th minute after collecting a missed clear by the FDU keeper and tucking it into the open net.
- Ashley Baran netted her first collegiate goal just before halftime in the 44th minute, finishing a pass from Sam Kroeger into the upper corner of the net.
- Lowrey got her hat trick by scoring twice in three and a half minutes in the 57th and 60th minutes, first finishing passes from Tiernan and Vicari, then heading home her hat trick off a long cross from Emma Misal.
- Gia Girman made it 7-0 in the 89th off an assist from freshman Olivia Russomanno, marking her first collegiate point.

- Rutgers moves to 7-0 against FDU, moving the all-time score to 27-0 since 2004.
