BOSTON and
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – For the second-straight week and third competition of the season,
Chloe Timberg set a school record in the pole vault to lead Rutgers track and field at the Collegiate Showdown the TRACK at new balance.
Alicia Campbell added a school record in the weight throw as she broke a 25-year-old mark.

The Scarlet Knights turned in four first-place finishes, competing at the site of the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston. Timberg and Campbell earned wins in their events in addition to the school records, while
Sincere Robinson and
Celine-Jada Brown swept the men's and women's long jump respectively.

Timberg, who also holds the outdoor pole vault record, established a career-best mark as she cleared the bar at 4.50m (14' 9"). Campbell recorded a distance of 20.87m (68' 5") in the weight throw, breaking the record of 18.97m (62' 3") previously set by Celeste Battle at the 1998 ECAC Championships.

Robinson won the long jump with a leap of 7.83m (25' 8.25") and Brown placed first on the women's side, with her distance of 6.20m (20' 4.25"). The Scarlet Knights recorded a total of 17 top-five finishes on the afternoon.

Rutgers also sent distance runners to the Villanova Invitational which was held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights competed in the men's mile and men's and women's 3,000-meter.
