PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers Winter Village returns to Rutgers men's basketball for the next two home games against Penn State (Tuesday, Dec. 10) and Seton Hall (Saturday, Dec. 14).
The Rutgers Winter Village will open three hours before gametime for each of the matchups. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, against Penn State, fans can plan for a 4:00 p.m. grand opening. The Rutgers Winter Village will feature holiday treats, special guests, the Miller Lite Beer Garden, food, snacks, live entertainment, cotton candy, roasted nuts, hot chocolate, lunch/dinner options and other holiday treats.

Steve Pikiell said. "We have the best fans in the country, and this gives them a chance to bring some of that passion just outside our front door prior to our games to kickoff the holiday season."
The Rutgers Winter Village is a family friendly pregame event that will provide food, entertainment, and programming for all ages. Fans 21 years or older will have to show identification and get wristband to be able to purchase alcohol. Some of the holiday programming includes winter décor, a giant video board screen for viewing, face painting, a caricature artist, stilt walkers, inflatables and holiday characters.
The entirety of The Rutgers Winter Village will be located on the grass oval out front of Jersey Mikes arena. It will feature an enclosed (heated) tent, and an open-air fenced area where the live entertainment will be, high top tables, and chairs to sit. A merchandise tent will open and special appearances from The Rutgers Pep Band and Spirit teams will take place (weather permitting).
