PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 15 Rutgers wrestling wrapped up action at the Princeton Open on Sunday at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Shane Cartagena-Walsh (184) picked up three victories en route to a third-place finish wrestling unattached, while
Andrew Clark (149) and
Anthony White (165) produced top six unattached results to highlight action for the Scarlet Knights.
Cartagena-Walsh muscled back-to-back wins to advance to the championship semifinals before losing a tough 4-2 decision to Colin Fegley (Lock Haven). Cartagena-Walsh followed with a 9-7 decision over James Lledo (Lock Haven) to place third.
White tallied two victories to finish fourth at 165 pounds, while Clark earned three bonus-point wins to finish sixth.
