PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics hosts Iowa in a Big Ten dual meet on Fri., Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at Jersey Mike's Arena. After this meet, the Scarlet Knights will not compete in New Jersey again until March 2.

Pink Out & Barbie Night
Join us for an evening dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer with our Pink Out event. Celebrate Barbie Day with us by donning your favorite Barbie-themed attire! After the meet, there will be an autograph session with our team members. Attendees can also look forward to pink shakers and a special sophomore poster.
The Four Things to Know...
Senior Emily Leese won her fifth event in as many meets to start the 2024 season, taking the vault crowns at Illinois on Sunday with a vault of 9.875. She scored a 9.9 or higher on vault for the fourth time in her career the week prior, giving her 10 scores of 9.9+ overall. Leese is Rutgers' high scorer on vault and floor to start the season.
Sophomore Rachael Riley, who made her college debut this season, earned her first Top 3 finish with a 9.850 on beam in the Penn State dual, a new career high. Earlier in the meet, she tied her career-best 9.775 on vault. In her fifth collegiate event, Riley posted her first 9.900 while winning the beam at Illinois, sticking her landing and executing a triple aerial series with no deductions.
Aird is also successful in the classroom, joining Leese on the WCGA Scholar All-America awards and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar list.
Junior Elia Aird has returned to the all-around this season, improving her career-best with a 39.125 against Penn State, surpassing her previous standard of 38.975. Aird scored a 9.775 (vault), 9.700 (bars), 9.800 (beam), and 9.850 (floor) for her new career high.

Rutgers gymnastics fell on Sunday at No.24 Illinois in a Big Ten dual meet, scoring 194.925 as a team on the road. Rutgers scored two event wins with Emily Leese topping the leaderboard in an event for the fifth time this season (vault), and Rachael Riley scoring her first collegiate 9.9 to win beam.
