PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers Athletics has announced an updated ticket claim process for Rutgers University students attending men's basketball games at Jersey Mike's Arena during the 2025-26 season.
The new system will streamline student access by transitioning entirely to a digital ticket claim process, similar to the procedure for football student tickets.
Beginning this season, students will be able to
claim tickets online through their student account, eliminating the need for in-person pickup.
All tickets must be claimed digitally prior to arriving at the arena.
Please note the following details regarding the updated process:
- Digital Claims Only: Physical ticket pickup at the ticket office two hours before tipoff will no longer be available. All tickets must be claimed online.
- First-Come, First-Served Admission: A claimed ticket does not guarantee entry. Students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 1.5 hours prior to tipoff when gates open at the designated student entrance (Gate B).
- Limited Allotment: A select number of student tickets will be available for each game. Once the allotment has been claimed, no additional tickets will be released.
- Advance Availability: Ticket claims will open approximately two weeks prior to each game for combo pack buyers. Multiple games may be available at once, depending on scheduling and proximity. Ticket claims for students that are not combo pack buyers will open approximately one week prior to each game.
Students are encouraged to claim their tickets and arrive early to ensure entry and enjoy the electric gameday atmosphere at Jersey Mike's Arena.
