PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's soccer (7-2-2, 2-1-1 B1G) tied No. 11 Michigan (6-1-3, 2-1-1 B1G) 0-0 on Sunday afternoon. Â
The Scarlet Knights now remain unbeaten in their last four contests and have won five of their last six. Â
Both teams generated offensive opportunities but to no avail. Thomas Angelone led RU with two of the team's six shots. Camron Boumsong also put a shot on goal. Â
Goalkeeper Ciaran Dalton recorded five saves as well, to lead the defensive effort. Â
Game Notes    Â
- 18 of RU's 21 goals this season have come from newcomers. Devon Stopek and Nick Collins are the lone returners to net a goal so far, as well as a team goal. Â
- Rutgers has scored 21 goals this slate, tied for third highest in the Big Ten. Â
- Ciaran Dalton made five saves in net on Sunday to tie for sixth on the all-time career saves list with 209 stops. Â
- Dalton has now come up with five shutouts in 2025, including in the past three contests, a season-high throughout his career. Â
- Dalton is the only Scarlet Knights to play all 90 minutes of all 11 matches this campaign. Â
- Sunday's match against the Wolverines marks the first time the team hasn't found the back of the net all season. Â
- The 0-0 result marks the second tie at home for the nation's No. 11 team as well as their first in Big Ten play.Â

Rutgers will come back to Yurcak Field to face Wisconsin on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. Â
