CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Rutgers tennis team concluded the third and final day at the UNC Charlotte Invitational in Charlotte, N.C., on Sunday afternoon.
"This has been a terrific tournament for us to challenge ourselves. Â We continued to see growth in our doubles play," said head coach,
Hilary Ritchie. "The team really supported one another, and that camaraderie will help us as we compete this Fall."
Doubles
Four pairs of Scarlet Knights took the courts in doubles today.
Duo
Mai Nguyen and
Naomi Karki remained undefeated at the invite, winning their set today 6-2.
"It was impressive for Mai and Naomi to go undefeated as a team," Ritchie added. "These matches should give us confidence heading into Regionals next weekend at Penn."
Singles
RU was not able to secure any wins in singles on the final day.
