PRINCETON, N.J. – Rutgers women's rowing closed out the 2025 fall campaign on Saturday at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie with the Scarlet Knights' Women's 8+ A boat claiming victory.
Among the field of six boats in the second round, the Rutgers Women's 8+ A clocked in at 15:04.162 and finished 14.663 seconds ahead of Princeton's A team. Â
Additionally, Rutgers B placed fourth in 16:28.949, followed by Rutgers C in fifth in 16:56.837.
In the first round, Rutgers A placed fifth in the field of 60 entries. The Scarlet Knights raced to a time of 14:21.862, finishing behind Princeton A (13:56.926), Virginia A (13:56.926), Virginia B (14:11.147) and Dartmouth A (14:13.302). RU's A boat bested entries from Michigan and Pennsylvania, who fielded NCAA Championship boats last season. Â
The Scarlet Knights concluded the Princeton Chase in the Women's 4+ as Rutgers A claimed fourth with a time of 16:38.042 behind Virginia A (16:32.581), Princeton A (16:35.240) and Virginia B (16:35.581).
