
Puck Winter Named Second Team All-American

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Following a highly impactful career as a Scarlet Knight, Rutgers back Puck Winter was named a 2025 Second Team All-American by the NFHCA.
Winter has made a huge impact over her career 'On the Banks', as a four-year starter in all 73 collegiate games. Over that time, she recorded 31 career defensive saves, which is the all-time Rutgers record in the stat, tied the all-time Big Ten record, and was fourth in NCAA history. She previously led the NCAA in defensive saves in 2023 and 2024.
Winter also scored 17 career goals with four assists for 38 points. In 2025, she had five goals, three assists and six defensive saves (second in the Big Ten and fifth nationally.
This season, Winter was named First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region, First Team All-Big Ten, First Team All-ECAC and to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team.
A native of Deventer in The Netherlands, the Communication/DCIM major was a Chi Alpha Sigma Inductee, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, NFHCA Academic Squad Honoree and a Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Winter was named an All-American for the second time in her career. Previously, she was tabbed as a Second Team All-American in 2023. She joins Iris Langejans, Katie Larmour, Gianna Glatz and Andschana Mendes as RU's all-time multiple-time All-American honorees.
Under head coach Meredith Civico, Rutgers' has had 13 players named All-Americans since 2018 after only having one All-American selections between 2002 and 2017.
