ROSEMONT, Ill. - Rutgers women's rowing has collected its seventh Big Ten Boat of the Week with the 2nd Varsity 4 claiming Additional Boat of the Week honors from the conference for its performance at the Big Ten Invitational last weekend.
The Scarlet Knights' 2V4 won all three of its races with open water at the high-ranking Big Ten Invitational, including an 11.4-second win over No. 7 Brown, a 5.1-second victory over No. 6 Tennessee, No. 11 Penn, and No. 12 Michigan, and a 12.8-second finish over No. 16 Duke, No. 21 Indiana, No. 24 USC, and No. 17 Oregon State.
The win over Brown was rowed byÂ
Katharina Dowlin, Louise Liemberg, Elena Moran, and Sofia Ulinski, and coxed by Meghan Mangan.
The victory over Tennessee was rowed byÂ
Abigail Franks, Liemberg, Jazmine Ingall, and Ulinski, and coxed by Mangan.
The Saturday win was rowed by
Dowlin, Ulinski, Ingall, and Olivia Cook, and coxed by Mangan.
Rutgers returns to action for the Women's Eastern Sprints in Massachusetts on Sun., May 4.
