Â
Shortly after, UNH struck again, with the combination of Poulakis and Knuttel striking again. This time it was Poulakis who finished off the attacking press with a redirection in front to give New Hampshire a 2-1.
Â
Rutgers would equalize late in the second quarter, with
Maddie Kidd and
Olivia Fraticelli teaming up to finish off a 2-on-1 with the goalkeeper. Fraticelli left a pass to Kidd, who circled around and sent the ball around the keeper back for Fraticelli, and she finished it off to tie the score at 2-2.
Â
In the second half, all the goal scoring would come from the home side, as RU outscored UNH 4-0 over the last thirty minutes.
