
Swimming and Diving Named Fall Scholar All-American Team

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers swimming and diving was recognized for their academic achievements this week, as the program was named a Scholar All-America team by the CSCAA.
The Scarlet Knights posted a team GPA of 3.398 in the fall semester to qualify for this academic accolade. Rutgers had six student athletes earn 4.0 GPAs last semester: Angelica Bath, Grace Hagemaster, Katherine Lang, Giana Lawrence, Ellie Schinsky and Bailee Sturgill. Additionally, 12 student-athletes qualified for the Dean's List: Blanka Berecz, Sephora Ford, Ana Hazlehurst, Ava Jurkiewicz, Cameron Kuriger, Katherine Lang, Giana Lawrence, Elysha Pribadi, Ellie Schinsky, Tayla Smith, Holland Spangler and Bailee Sturgill. The team holds a cumulative GPA of 3.463 overall.
This distinction represents the highest academic honor awarded by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America, recognizing programs that exemplify excellence in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of collegiate sport. To qualify, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence alongside competitive achievement.
