
Field Hockey Has 10 Recognized on National Academic Squad

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers field hockey had 10 student-athletes recognized for their academics on Wednesday as they were named to the NFHCA Academic Squad. The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.
Four Rutgers freshmen earned the accolade for the first time in their career. The six other student-athletes had all been recognized prior, led by Erica Babbits as a four-time honoree, Ashley Arnold, Natalie Arnold, Anna Cogdell and Maddie Kidd for a third time, and Olivia Beattie for a second time.
