Men’s Lacrosse Has Three Big Ten Awards

Dylan Finder, Cardin Stoller and Joe Juengerkes Honored
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse had three student-athletes win Big Ten awards following the team's win over Villanova last Saturday. Joe Juengerkes was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, Cardin Stoller was named the Big Ten Specialist of the Week and Dylan Finder was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Stoller had 14 saves and led RU to 8-7 win over Villanova by allowing just one goal over the final 42 minutes of game time. He posted a season high in save percentage (66.7%) and saves. Through that game, Stoller led the Big Ten in saves per game (12.25) and was second in save percentage (55.7%).
Juengerkes had a strong all-around performance in the 8-7 win. He was a key part of defensive effort that limited Villanova to a season-low seven goals, holding them to just one goal in the final 42 minutes of the game. Juengerkes had 4 ground balls, 1 caused turnover and added one goal and one assist, tying his career-high with two points.
Finder, another short-stick defensive midfielder, had a strong defensive performance in the 8-7 win over Villanova as a key part of defensive effort that limited Villanova to a season-low seven goals, 3.5 below their season average, and holding them to just one goal in the final 42 minutes of the game.
