Women’s Golf Returns to Spring Schedule at City of Oaks Collegiate

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's golf returns to its spring schedule at the City of Oaks Collegiate from March 22-24 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The three-day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by NC State, takes places at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course.

Rutgers produced its lowest 54-hole team score in program history with a 14-under-par 850 at the Westbrook Invitational from Feb. 22-23 in Peoria, Arizona. Graduate student Grace Lu fired off a nine-under-par 207 (67-70-70) across her three rounds to tie for sixth in the 82-player field.
Lu and sophomore Joline Truong both carded five-under-par 67s at the Westbrook – the third lowest single-round scores in program history. Lu's nine-under-par 207 was the second-lowest 54-hole individual score in school history.
Last Time at City of Oaks
Rutgers finished fifth while Lu paced the Scarlet Knights with a tied-for-ninth finish at last year's City if Oaks Collegiate.
