2013 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games, making one start at linebacker ... finished fourth on the team with 53 tackles and second with 8.5 TFLs ... collected nine total tackles, one TFL and one fumble recovery against Notre Dame in the Pinstripe Bowl (12/28) ... had four stops at UConn (11/30) ... recorded a game-high three TFLs at UCF (11/21), including one sack ... had four tackles against Cincinnati (11/16) ... picked up five stops versus Houston (10/26) ... in on one tackle at Louisville (10/10) ... recorded seven tackles with three TFLs in first career start versus Arkansas (9/21) ... notched eight tackles (1.5 TFLs) in the win over Eastern Michigan (9/14) ... picked up four tackles against Norfolk State (9/7), also returning a kickoff for five yards ... made two tackles in the season opener at Fresno State (8/29), including one on the opening kickoff of the season ... named to American Athletic Conference All-Academic Football Team.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in 12 games, primarily in a special teams role and recorded two tackles ... made one stop at USF (9/13) and one solo tackle versus UConn (10/6) ... named the team's most improved defensive player during spring practice prior to the season.

2011 (Freshman): Did not see game action ... redshirted.

Prior to Rutgers: Four-year starter for head coach Eddie Long at Bishop Kearney High School ... rated the No. 2 prospect in New York according to SuperPrep Magazine ... played both running back and linebacker ... senior season statistics included 124 tackles on defense, including four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions ... also totaled 1,611 rushing yards and 220 passing yards on offense ... three-star recruit according to ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com ... rated the No. 40 outside linebacker nationally by Rivals.com ... third-ranked prospect in the Empire State by Rivals.com ... rated the No. 57 athlete nationally by ESPN.com and the No. 67 outside linebacker prospect in the country by Scout.com ... 114 tackles and six sacks as a junior ... also posted 14 touchdowns and over 1,000 yards of total offense as a junior ... two-time New York State Sportswriters Association All-State selection ... two-time All-Greater Rochester selection by the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle ... played in the All-World Gridiron Classic in Charleston, S.C. ... also a sprinter on the track and field team.
