Shutte on Bodine: “Louis has been around for a while and he’s a New Jersey kid. He has a ton of experience now and he’s played in two conference championships. He’s developed experience that will be able to help us. Louis is a guy who has physically developed, matured a lot as a person and he’s there now. Hopefully, he can rely on his experience now.”
SPRING 2016: Led RU with a 74.31 18-hole average in 16 rounds of play ... produced lowest 18-hole score of the season for the program with a 68 ... shot a team-low 70 during the final round of the Big Ten Championships, finishing tied for 47th in the field (April 22-24) ... produced a season-best finish of sixth with a 209 (71-68-70) at the Rutherford Intercollegiate (April 16-17) ... tied for 32nd, carding a one-under-par 70 in the second round at the Princeton Invitational (April 9-10) ... finished tied for 16th with a one-over-par 145 (73-72) at the Seahawk Intercollegiate (March 20-21) … finished tied for 55th with an 18-over-par 231 (73-78-80) at the Bob Sitton Invitational (March 15-17) … competing as an individual, finished tied for 28th with a 12-over-par 228 (76-76-76) at the Colleton River Collegiate (March 7-8) … produced a 3&1 victory against Michigan, helping RU secure a first-round victory against the Wolverines during the Big Ten Match Play Championships (Feb. 12-13).
FALL 2015: Finished tied for seventh with a 212 scorecard (72-71-69), including a hole-in-one on hole 11 (par 3, 158 yards) during the Rutgers Invitational (9/11-12).
SPRING 2015: Competed in four tournaments during the spring season, totaling 14 rounds ... produced two top-30 finishes, concluding T-17th at the Towson Invitational (3/28-29) and T-27th at the Princeton Invitational (4/11-12) ... went undefeated in Big Ten Match Play, recording wins against Maryland and Nebraska and a tie against Penn State (2/15-16).
FALL 2014: Made appearances in Rutgers first three events of the fall campaign ... carded a season-low 69 18-round score, finishing T-14th at the Rutgers Invitational (9/19-20) ... also competed at the Badger Invitational (9/28-30) and the Wolverine Invitational (9/6-7), where he carded a 220 (75-76-69).
SPRING 2014: 2013-14 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Honeree ... played in RU's final two events, playing six rounds ... shot a three-round score of 224 at the American Athletic Conference Championship ... shot a team-low 70 in the second round of the Rutherford Intercollegiate, leading to a tied-for-19th individual finish (220).
