  • Notched an RBI double in 9-5 season finale win over Penn State, giving Rutgers the most Big Ten series victories and highest Big Ten Tournament seed in program history (May 4)
  • Tied her career-high with three RBIs going 3-for-5, including a two-run single and RBI double, and a run scored ina 9-4 win at Michigan State for the most Big Ten wins in program history (Apr. 26)
  • Was 2-for-4 with a double in a 6-1 series finale win for the first-ever series victory over Minnesota (Apr. 21) 
  • Collected her third triple of the year to help jump start RU's three-run seventh inning in a 9-6 setback at Minnesota (Apr. 20)
  • Batted 3-for-4, including a double with an RBI and run scored in a 10-2 run-rule win at LIU (Apr. 16)
  • Belted her first career home run and also notched a two-RBI triple in a 9-3 series-opening victory versus Nebraska (Apr. 12)
  • Hit .429 with four runs scored, a double and RBI during the Maryland series (Apr. 10)
  • Scored twice and collected a double in a 9-0 game two win at Maryland, marking the second-straight season with a series victory against the Terps (Apr. 10)

AROUND THE BASES - PRIOR TO RUTGERS:
  • Played two seasons at Houston after transferring from Penn State
  • Finished redshirt sophomore campaign in 2023 hitting .265 with 30 hits, 13 runs, five doubles and 15 RBIs 
  • Made 22 starts in 33 appearances leading the Cougars hitting .304 as a redshirt freshman in 2022
  • Recorded a six-game hit streak from (2/19-27).
  • Played the 2020 season for Penn State before opting out of the 2021 season for the Nittany Lions.
  • As a freshman in 2020, hit .161 in 15 games and 10 starts.
  • Had two doubles and two RBI
  • Opened the season with back-to-back multi-hit games
  • Had two hits in collegiate debut
PRIOR TO COLLEGE:
  • Earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors
  • Ranked the 59th best prospect in 2019 by Extra Innings
  • Helped team to regular-season conference title and third-place state finish
  • Graduated from Cato Middle College High School in Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Played varsity softball at Cannon School in 2017

  • Daughter of Joel and Toyia 
  • Mother, Toyia is a principal, father, Joel was an MLB scout after playing at Mississippi State.
  • Has one sister, Jolie.
  • Uncle Jay Matthews is an MLB scout for the Colorado Rockies after playing at North Carolina and coaching for the Tar Heels.
  • Uncle Jay was also an assistant coach for UNC Charlotte.
