Deja Craig-Lucien joined the Rutgers Athletics Department in 2024 and currently serves as an athletic trainer, overseeing the medical care for the Scarlet Knights women's basketball program.
Arriving at Rutgers from Seton Hall, where Craig-Lucien spent five years as an assistant athletic trainer overseeing women's basketball and men's and women's cross country, following a stint at the United States Military Academy working with the men's and women's swimming and diving programs.
Craig-Lucien also has clinical experience at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Delbarton High School in Morristown, N.J.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Craigl-Lucien earned a bachelor's degree in biology and a master’s degree in athletic training.
