Randi Small joined the Rutgers University Athletic Department in 2016 as an Athletic Trainer. She currently works with the women’s lacrosse program and has previously worked with the women’s soccer and swimming and diving programs. Her responsibilities also include inventory management and procurement and right to know compliance.
Small joined Rutgers from Oakland University, where she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with the women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and cheer and dance programs.
Additionally, Small was a Graduate Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer at Bowling Green, working with men’s soccer and softball. She also spent a year at the University of Richmond as a certified Intern Athletic Trainer with football and field hockey.
A graduate of Michigan State with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, she assisted with the Spartans’ athletic training efforts as an athletic training student across multiple sports. She earned a Master’s of Education in Sports Administration from Bowling Green.
