Lewis Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Amy Lewis (Hainesport, N.J.) earned her fourth nomination to the BIG EAST's weekly honor roll after recording a hat trick in Rutgers' 3-2 overtime win against BIG EAST opponent Georgetown on Oct. 6. The win was RU's first BIG EAST win of the season.
Lewis' three goal performance helped Rutgers win its first BIG EAST game of the season and its first in nearly two years. With the three goals, Lewis now leads the Scarlet Knights with 17 goals in 14 games. The sophomore midfielder was also named to the BIG EAST honor roll during the weeks ending Aug. 28, Sept. 11, and Oct. 8.
Next up for the Scarlet Knights is a two-game road trip, beginning with BIG EAST opponent Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 1:00 p.m., followed by Vermont on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 3:30 p.m.
