Poole Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - For the fourth straight week, Rutgers has placed a player on the BIG EAST weekly honor roll. The recipient for the third time this season is sophomore midfielder Michelle Poole.
The Hackettstown, N.J. native earned the accolade after registering three goals in an 11-6 win over state-rival Monmouth on March 14. Poole was featured in last week's "Faces in the Crowd" section of Sports Illustrated for her efforts in helping the Scarlet Knights post their first-ever win over Cornell to commence the season.
Poole has tallied three or more scores in three games this spring.
Rutgers (5-1) entertains Hofstra on Wednesday, March 21 at 4:00 p.m. The Scarlet Knights are currently ranked No. 17 in the IWLCA national poll and 19th in the InsideLacrosse.com media poll.
